During 2011-2012, you were doing great getting some of your United Artists catalog titles out to us (several Monroe's, catalog westerns, IAMMMMW, a pair of Woody Allen's, THE APARTMENT, 12 ANGRY MEN, plus some HITCHCOCK'S, Best Buy and Walk-Mart exclusiv eetc. Now...a pair of Woody Allen's. Otherwise, a desert. Oh -- I guess THE GREAT ESCAPE is coming this summer. Meanwhile, languishing in your vaults are 8 Roger Corman/Vincent Price/Poe classics, a ton of other UA films, some of them Oscar winners: (THE MIRACLE WORKER, WITNESS FOR THE PROSECUTION , BIRDMAN OF ALCATRAZ, I WANT TO LIVE!, THE ALAMO, BLACK STALLION, EXODUS, THE DEFIANT ONES, JUDGEMENT AT NUREMBERG, IN THE HEAT OF THE NIGHT, THE GREAT TRAIN ROBBERY, A FUNNY THING HAPPENED TO ME ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM, THE TRAIN, TOM JONES, MARTY, MOBY DICK, THE PRIVATE LIFE OF SHERLOCK HOLMES, ON THE BEACH, THE OFFENCE, ONE-TWO-THREE, THE PINK PANTHER Series, and of course the many remaining.Woody Allen's you control which, at the rate you are releasing them, we will be able to amass in about ten years. PLEASE get that wonderful catalog title locomotive running again!

In the 2000s, they just rushed a bunch of their back catalog titles out to market without remastering them. However, a lot of them now have decent HD masters they use for MGM HD.
I'd love to get a decent disc of The Miracle Worker, which was one of their non-anamorphic rush-jobs.

The Great Escape has been confirmed for May 7th http://www.foxconnect.com/great-escape-bd-ws-sac.html Great list though. A lot of classics on there. Mississippi Burning would be great as well.

We got some of their holdings in MOD discs, but I'd like to see The Music Lovers on Blu-ray as well as Women in Love.

Is it too early to talk about a 50th Pink Panther?

I believe there was a recent article revealing that a Pink Panther collection is in the works. It would certainly be a welcome surprise. Found it:

There's been a few threads like this. It's very frustrating. United Artists were turning out so many films in the early sixties & that's when I went to the cinema the most, so many movies I'd love to own in HD. Hopefully The Great Escape will do very well & lead the way for a few more releases. I've kept my list to just six: Run Silent, Run Deep The Vikings The Alamo Tom Jones Irma La Douce A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum
