    Great episode.

I am really hooked on this show now. It is much better than I ever expected it to be.

Hickock sleeping out in the hallway cracked me up.

Next weeks episode looks like it will be leading up to the end of Wild Bill.

I agree. I think Wild Bill's time is coming to an end. I wonder if its that one kid who keeps egging him on that does it...

The new saloon definitely adds a wrinkle, already they're swapping agents, double-agents, and double-double-agents. [IMG]

I love how everyone was cheering the arrival of the new whores, just like they supposedly did in the real Deadwood.

Is it me or is Seth Bulter trying to do a Clint Eastwood impression?

I love their invitation to dinner. "I feel like I should be carrying posies."

My other favorite moment was the inn keeper's confession ending with a request for a quick death just in case resurrection of the flesh is real. [IMG]

And if it is anything like History says, then the man who keeps egging him on will shoot Wild Bill in the back of the head. It looks like Bill will clean him out in cards, just like he supposedly did in real life.

That kid does keep egging him on. The exchange between him and Wild Bill when Bill laid down his revolvers to stay in the pot was great.

Does anyone know who the actor was who played the fat bearded owner of the new Saloon? This was the gentleman that was showing the inn keeper how to play craps. He looks really familiar.

I believe that Innkeeper/ saloon owner would be Powers Booth.Suave as ever. Entertainment weekly says definately
somebody gets shot between drinks. Wild Bill, we hardly knew you. Any speculation on what will happen to the laudnum addicted wife now that her husband is dead?

His name is Ricky Jay. He's an outstanding magician but has also acted in some of Paul Thomas Anderson's films...he was in Boogie Nights (as the cameraman) and Magnolia (don't remember what part he played).....

Great episode, man, this show is pretty freaking good.

"Don't repeat what I just said back to me in diferent words!" "What did I just tell you!" I really like Al sometimes.

There must of been a sh**load of gold the guy just discovered.

Question - Did Al sell that lot to Saul and Seth for less than he first wanted them to pay? He wanted $500 now, half their sales(correct?), and than the last $500 by first snow. Now, he just sold them the lot for $1000 or did I miss something?

It has to be Wild Bill. On my DirecTivo I had to pause the preview scene where the guy on the horse was holding someone's head. The head (although seen from a far), definitely had Wild Bill's long hair and his distinct moustache.

I thought that too about it being Wild Bill's head, they would really be straying from history then. But, who cares, it is a TV show. I just don't want to see Wild Bill go.

And let us not forget that the opium-addicted dealer is known for dealing ‘eights’.

Still a bit more style than substance to this show, but I’m along for the ride.

The previews made it seem like she's going to become a major player.

Quick question: Who are the Pinkertons, and why would Swerengen (sp?) be so afraid of them?

Ricky Jay was also in the excellant David Mamet Film House of Games!

Tim Olyphant is an actor I've seen in alot of films but never noticed him really until now. quite a plum role.
