Hugh Jackman gets to show his dramatic side as he bares his character’s sole ...

What is he, some kind of hippie, running around barefoot?

Will try to get to this one soon. So many films, so little time.

Are they mixing Atmos at a lower volume now? I observed the same thing on Twisters (official review coming soon).

At least in theory, a track with a huge amount of dynamic range requires a lower default baseline volume so that peak highs don't clip or distort. So long as you compensate by raising the volume on your receiver a little, this should not have any negative consequences for the mix as a whole.

However, some studios default to authoring all Atmos tracks at a low volume, even if the mix doesn't have much dynamic range. In that case, raising your volume doesn't really help much.

My copy of D&W hasn't arrived yet, so I can't speak to that one specifically.
