Anyone know when this can be expected to be released?

I have no idea if it's aired on tv yet, just curious as to when it may be released on DVD.

I'm assuming once we know when season 4 (which will be a full 22 episodes) hits the airwaves, we will have a good idea when season 3 will hit DVD. They tend to time the launch of a new season with the release of the previous season on DVD. Murmurs are we aren't likely to see season 4 until Spring or early summer. I'm still desperate to know what happens with Stillson....dirty cliffhangers!

To tide yourself over, I suggest picking up Millennium.
It's a great show with the same overtones as The Dead Zone, only without much humor (until season 2, anyways). It's more bleak than the Dead Zone show, but not anymore than the Dead Zone movie/novel. If you like one, I'd bet you'd like the other.

Cool! I assume Season Four will start on USA around then too.

EDIT: Anyone else notice that June 3 isn't a Tuesday?

Yeah... I hope Season 4 starts by then or atleast soon... I got into Dead Zone late... one of the shows I discovered on DVD. I can't wait to start watching some more eps.

Yeah that is strange that it is coming out on a friday? It may be right though... I know when I worked managing a local video store there was some odd releases here and there on a friday. but then again... may be just a misprint.

Gord's checking into the Friday thing. That's the date he was given, and passed to me to post. Neither of us thought to question the date given to us by a studio! [IMG] We'll sort it out and post something to fix all this. Sorry!

But hey, the good news is that it's coming! [IMG]

Got nothing to be sorry about Dave! [IMG] As I said... it could be right yet too. every great once in a while we got hit at the video store with a Friday release.

and even if it is wrong... that was on the studio's side not yours. [IMG]

But all is good either way as you said... it's good that it is coming! [IMG] I for one can't wait.

Just started watching season 3 and it seems like a huge step up in production quality - I mean of the show itself.

But I am wondering why season 3 is only half a season long?

The show was supposed to have 13 episode seasons or there about. In year two however they decided to made a group of summer episodes with big stories to try and get ratings up. It did and now the seasons run during the summer time as the ratings are good then

Wow, that's a tiny season. Well, quality vs quantity, I'll take it.
