Has anyone heard anything about Dead or Alive Volleyball being available with different covers? I can't find anything at the major sites, but http://www3.telus.net/Dsx2/mainpage.html claims and has pics of multiple covers (near the bottom of the page), and claims that they will be lenticular motion covers.
Not a big deal, but I ordered from EBGames.com and would prefer Tina or Hitomi, since they are the characters I usually play.

It was planned at one point but they decided to scrap that plan. By the way, the cover that everyone has been showing is not the final cover either. It features three girls...Hitomi, Tina and Lisa. Sadly, my future digital wife Christie will not be on the cover. :b

The word we got at work just the other day (at EB) is that we will carry exclusive cover slips to give out to customers who preorder/buy from us. You get all the covers, and then can swap em in and out as you please.

Nifty Graeme. Must...have...Christie cover. I think the DOA fans will probably come up with the best covers for the game anyway.
Dave, I guess that makes 2 of us on this forum that will actually admit to buying this game, huh? :) I am not ashamed.

So for what it's worth, I'm admitting that I'm buying it as well.
Actually the game has been getting some nice reviews. It supposedly is a volleyball/RPG hybrid. Volleyball plays a bit more of a reduced role in the game as you are supposed to be able to gamble in several casinos. Give gifts to other chicks so they join your team. Acquire bikini's and the like. Also the game has full support for the custom sondtrack feature of the Xbox and was confirmed to be widescreen in two reviews I have read. I'll probably be picking this one up though Devil May Cry 2 takes precedence.

I'm probably picking this one up to. Seeing as how Super Spike Volleyball for NES is one of my favorite games, a new volleyball game couldn't hurt to try out.

Well the deed is done. :)
Pre-ordered DOA:XVB from EBGames.com this afternoon. I'm hoping that the multiple cover thing comes through, as it'd be nice to have different covers available for it.

Super Spike VBall kicks serious ass! I became addicted to that game a couple years back.
I'll be all over DOA Volleyball. Mainly for the widescreen support of course. :D

I'm on the fence on this one. I love Volleyball games such as the aforementioned Super Spike but I'm not interested in the girls. How reduced is the volleyball element to the RPG and other elements?

Super Spike VBall? That was a classic game if ever there was one. I'm gonna hold out on DOAVBB till it's released so I can get some feedback but I hope it plays as well as it looks:)

Does anyone know if Blockbuster or any of the major rental chains will carry this? I'd like to check it out. I'm not sure I can justify owning this. :b

Since I have no X-Box I won't be buying this ;), though I do want to pick up Beach Spikers at some point.
However, my reason for posting is to throw my support behind old classic NES game Kings of the Beach. The 'argue with the ref' feature is an absolute classic that I feel was sorely neglected in basically every single sports title ever released afterwards :D.
It was even better when you got a call reversed!
