DVD Price Search lists the Polygram special edition of "Dead Man Walking" as anamorphic, but not the MGM version. Can anyone who owns either version enlighten me on this?

Also, everyone lists the US special edition of Good Will Hunting as non-anamorphic, while the Canadian version is anamorphic. But I held the US version in my hand at the store the other day and the list of features said "enhanced for 16:9 TVs." I even checked the packaging to make sure it said "manufactured in the USA." Was this title quietly remastered or was it always anamorphic?

Neither. The new packaging is incorrect (as it is on Metro, Cop Land, and the other re-designed artwork for some non-anamorphic BV title.) The only anamorphic release is Canada.

Reviews of the MGM release of Dead Man Walking indicate that it's not anamorphic, so I doubt the Polygram release was either.

Actually, newer copies of GWH are now labeled anamorphic widescreen.
