As part of their continuing effort to keep film fans poor, Deep Discount DVD is having another sale on Criterion discs. The first few pages have the biggest mark downs, around 45% off, but even the less steeply discounted titles about as cheap as what you'd pay during a 20% off sale.

And best of all, they have Mr. Arkadin for $27.48, which DVD Price Search tells me is $5 less than anywhere else.

A couple days ago I purchased Bad Timing, Four Samurai Classics, and Do the Right Thing.

I'm very tempted to purchase 8 and 1/2 along with F for Fake...

Gotta love Cox cable! I had a number of good sale items in my cart when I lost service. By the time I got service back DDD raised the prices in my cart. Clear cart - save a lot of money.

Picked up Videodrome, Brazil, and Mr. Arkadin... These being the most I've ever paid for single movies... Brazil was 35 bucks, YIKES! [IMG]

Though... I'm checking the prices now... Brazil -47 bucks and Mr. Arkadin is 40 and Videodrome isn't even on the site anymore for some reason? So I guess I lucked out!

EDIT: I check the order status page and it says Brazil is in process and then at Videodrome, it's just black but has the price and says in process. Anyone have any idea what that means?
