Hello. I don't quite know where to put this thread but I've seen some members home theatre pics whereupon they have plaques of Dolby Digital and DTS logos. I'd like to find out where someone can get them. I've seen them at some movie theatres but I wouldn't gander liberating them. [IMG] They would look great on a wall. Thanks in advance.

I have some high quality TIF files- print out onto photo quality glossy paper, frame. Much better than spending £25 each! [IMG]

    Cost about £1 each.

PM for email and will attach.

I have Dolby Digital, DTS & THX (plus a couple of variants)

[edit] anyone got about 30MB of webspace? I've over-quoted "Dave's" email by sending too much! :-D

I have webspace available if you like, but you'd have to get the files to me somehow so I can put them up on the webserver... sorry, the webserver doesn't have any FTP access. PM me for more details.

Yikes, you sure did, John! Retreiving my e-mail this morning took almost twenty minutes(!!), and was accompanied by several messages from my ISP informing that I was waaay over the limit. But no worries, John; the files are beautiful. I just hope you're able to have a DTS file hosted on Muneeb's space (I assume the DTS file was among those bounced back to you by my ISP). Thanks again John, and cheers! (And thanks in advance to Muneeb, in the event that the files become available to us via his space).

    DS.

Yeah they are huge files- 57MB each, TIF. 5300 x 3800 [IMG]

I've enabled my pipex webspace (take 24 hours) I'll upload the rar file. I'll post the link to the file when it's done.

[edit] I am not charging for the pics (not my original work anyway) just guessing cost of printing & for a picture frame.

Thomas, I lost your email address after sending the first logo. Did you get it?Please send me another email, and I'll send the first one off.

And aaron did you get the DD logo? - you should have all three high quality ones (DD/DTS/THX)

Hey George, I noticed you were in Chino Hills, I am about an hour from you in Apple Valley. We should get together and talk shop. What kind of system do ya have?

I have plenty of space to host the pics. Maybe I will start dedicate a page to this - sounds like a neat (any maybe needed) project.

    PM if your interested.

The first round of pictures are on my site. Go to willowville dot com/ht/pics.php (I still can't post URL's [IMG] ). Click on a thumbnail to download the file (zipped). Later when I have more time I will 'upgrade' the page to include larger views of the pictures when clicked on.

David, thank you very much for hosting these! I've downloaded the TIF files for DTS, DD, and THX and printed them and they look awesome! Now I'm off to go look for some nice frames!

Can anyone tell me if these can be printed on something bigger than 8x10 by a photography store? I'd like to get them a bit bigger than that and have them plaqued.

I used a program called Picture Windows Pro (from Digital Light) to print one of the big ones on 49 pages. The program allows you to stitch them back together to make one large print. It is not too difficult to do.

I'm not sure that you can get one done professionally. There may be some hesitation due to trademarks.

The top rightmost pics on the top row have a link to the same zip file.

    Otherwise, [IMG] [IMG]

    Thanks!
