I have a Pioneer VSX-108, had it for about year. All of a sudden one day it just blinked out on me and said "dc out". Volume wasnt to loud, connections were fine. it was working flawlessly. Any ideas as to what caused and what i can do to fix or how how much it will cost to fix? I opened it up checked the fuses and they were fine, made sure the connections were okay. I checked Pioneer's website and it is usless on this case.

Funny thing is me and my pops have the same model, bought them at the same exact time and his is still fine even though he runs his 24/7. This is driving me crazy.

If the amp is capacitor-less in its output stage, that means its DC servo is running amok and sending DC bias out instead of keeping it at 0. If it has capacitor output, then it might have shorted and DC is somehow leaking through.

I could be completely wrong as to what Pioneer meant by it.
