Days of Thunder really dark... (1 Viewer)

I just picked up the Days of Thunder DVD this weekend and watched it. It was very dark. It seemed the gamma was off. Are other peoples disc's like this or is mine defective?

It's also 4:3 letterboxed, I think.

Here's hoping for a remaster.

Still hanging onto my LD copy.

My version is widescreen but it's not anamorphic.
