Thanks Patrick for taking the time to post that. Some of those I need and sounds like I could save a few bucks. [IMG]

They have widescreen depicted in my sales circular (on the front cover, at least).

What I find odd is that inside they show fullscreen then they have an icon that represents "widescreen also available", as if fullscreen is the norm, and for releases without that icon, no widescreen release is available.

Stopped by Best Buy over lunch and picked up the daily double of Training Day and Insomnia for $25. It was a heckuva deal...although the crowds were incredible--mainly populated with hateful teens buying slaughter-and-torture video games.
(While waiting in the endless checkout line, I enjoyed listening to a ten-year-old explain how f*cking cool the new 8-Mile soundtrack is. "It f*cking rocks, Mom!" [IMG] )
[BTW, most of the 2 for $25 titles were dumped in a huge bin at the front of the store and almost all, surprisingly, were widescreen versions.]

Here's what I picked up (today):
    • Toy Story Ultimate Toy Box
    • Gone with the Wind
    • Ocean's 11
    • When Harry Met Sally
    • Hang 'Em High
    • Hackers
    • Colors
I would've gotten Goonies and Willy Wonka, too, had they been in stock. I wanted the R2D2 mockumentary, but I didn't see it anywhere and I wasn't going to make much of an effort.

I went by Best Buy and noticed the Fullscreen/Widescreen versions for Murder By Numbers and Ocean's Eleven were treated the same for purchases (yeah).

I didn't find the R2D2 DVD either, plus I didn't want to wait in line for 10-15 minutes either. I guess I'll try back on Saturday when I get back in town from the holidays.

My BestBuy (Albany, NY) had dozens of copies of the R2D2 Mockumentary. I picked one up and just finished watching it. [IMG]

Don't forget to use your 10% coupon from the Fox dvd demo disc #2.
    Another heads up.
    I'm a frugal, comparision shopper.
Walmart has "Fallen" and a few other movies that Best Buy has for $9.99 at $9.44.
I think Target sells a few movies at $9.44 too.
This is Walmarts everyday price for some movies.

    I picked up

2 Wizard of Oz. - 1 for my sister, one for me.
1 Miss Congeniality - my sister
    1 Willy Wonka
    1 Swordfish
    1 Ya Ya
    1 Blade Runner
    1 Murder By Numbers

They had a lot of r2d2 at my best buy too. They were next to the other Star Wars dvds on the regular racks (scifi section) but not by the ATOC on the big display in the aisle.
