Dawsons Creek / Ally McBeal, European sets with orignal music? (1 Viewer)

Dawsons Creek is out next week in the UK and I was wondering how "music clearance problems" may have affected it. Its out in the states too isn't it? Also all Six seasons of Ally McBeal are avialable in the UK and throughout europe. Whats the music situation with them? Have songs been dropped?

I'd just like tp point out that i'm not a fan of either show but the music situation interests me.

AFAIK, Dawson's Creek had all the original music in R1. I don't think they used a lot of expensive songs. I can't imagine music replacement working very well on Ally McBeal as the music was usually closely tied to the storyline.
