Is the "Dawn of the Dead" DVD that's availible in R2 any good? I'm aware that an "Ultimate Edition" is availible in R1 but that hasn't been released over here...

I'd post a picture of the DVD that I'm talking about but it won't let me because I haven't posted fifteen times yet !!!

I think the best version available is Japanese 2 disc Premium version. But it´s expensive[IMG]

What about the packaging of this r2 JAP release and the number of disc(s) ?
Can we hear a difference between the DTS and the dolby track ?

    Thx

If you're talking about the recently re-released theatrical version of Dawn, it's very good and uncut! Excellent anamorphic picture, decent 5.1 stereo sound and an entertaining one hour documentary on the making of the film, all for just £5.99 at the HMV, a true bargain.[IMG]

I have both the R1 & R2 and the DTS sound is definite improvement over the DD track in both ambience and power (the shotgun blasts in particular have much more resonance).

    REGION 2 JAPAN unrated:

As you can see there is much more detail and sharpness in the R2 shot.
