This is pretty old news, Davis DVD reported this over two weeks ago.

Ah! I thought you were talking about the original version (which was talked about years ago, but is only now finally being released).

I'm so happy you're not. [IMG]

Yeah, as long as the real "Dawn" is coming out on September 7, I'll be happy. I don't care about the remake.

I too thought this was about the original. I'm semi-relieved and pissed at the same time. As happy as I am the original is still coming on the 7th, I'm pissed that the remake is delayed yet again. Arg!

If they delay this outstanding film one more time, I'll explode.

Annoyed here as well. To be honest I was suprised they weren't releasing it closer to Halloween the first time. Someone probably finally realized that it would sell better then. Meanwhile we just get teased.

It pisses me off when films that originated here in the states come out on DVD first in other countries. But here it's all about tie-ins (that people don't even notice half the time).

The unrated Director's Cut has already been released in Hong Kong, R3.

That's an amazing cover! And it doesn't wreck the artwork by chiming on on the "unrated edition" label. Very nice.

I definitely agree. It's one of the more stylish covers I've seen this year. The Swedish (European?) poster featured the same art, with the 'half-zombie'.

Kudos to the filmmakers for delivering a TRUE "Unrated" DVD for once. The new additions look awesome.

Perhaps you saw a different version than the one that I saw in the UK, Mike, because I certainly don't remember those scenes being in the movie that I saw in Edinburgh. I'm sure that I would have remembered parts like Michael shooting himself on-camera and the guy without the arm.

Good to see that's there's some fine, quality gore in the unrated version. And I envy Region 3 for that great cover.
