Hello,

What is the official running time for Dawn of the Dead (1978 version). I checked the IMDB and I get so many alternative versions of the film. Anchor Bay on its first release of this film has a running time of 137 minutes. The most recent release of this film states that the running time is 126 minutes. Is there a new 137 minute release of this film.

The US Theatrical version is 127 minutes. The single disc DVD is the US version. If you find the Ultimate version the Extended cut is included which is 137 minutes. Also the European cut is in the set which is 118 min but has footage not in either previous cut.

Romeros preferred cut is the US theatrical 127 min.
