It seems that this unit has all but been forgotten and news coming out of Korea has dried up. What's the deal? Is this pre/pro still slated for release? What of AV123.Com's partnership, is it still a go?
Its modular design has my interest piqued.
Any help and info would be appreciated.

Wow, I've never heard about this product. I checked out their website and I'll have to contact them to find out more. Will let you know if I find anything out. I may have to hold off on purchasing the AVM20.

My experience with most Asian electronic designers -except Japan- is typically poor design practices and sloppy shortcuts.

I'm not optimistic that this unit will ever be of high enough quality (it will probably have many problems) to be a real contender. It will also likely be very late to market (it already is).

    Just IMHO.

Mark L Schifter of av123.com (distributors of Divas by Sawn and Onix Rocket speakers) has picked up the US distribution rights to this piece. Last I heard, he was helping Davis Labs to rework it into something marketable. I'm not sure where it stands now, but I think he still plans on bringing it out.

Thanks guys. I'll shoot over to AVS and see what I can dig up.

Bruce, believe me, I know where you're coming from.
