Data Burning using nero having problems (1 Viewer)

I currently trying to burn some files to a CD using the Data CD function in nero Ver 6.6.03.

My CD burner is a Plextor PX-716A

When I burn the disc and I choose the verify data on disc, a stream of Xs popup and say that the files do not match the source, any ideas?

I can see that the disc was written on (visually) but when I try to open in explorer I get a "incorrect function" D: is not accessible.

I have had other problems burning music CDs and trying to play them on an Apple G5. I get a clipping sound and "none of the files on this disc can be read on this apple" or something like that. But that’s a whole different story.

Any help would be appreciated.

The same thing is happening using roxio easy CD creator, it's as if I never burned the disc.

What the heck is going on?
