Post your temp with and without windchill.

Tonight's low in the central BC interior will be minus 38 deg Celsius, minus 53 deg Celsius with the windchill....that's minus 64 deg F with the windchill. Brrrr!

Damn, that's low. Currently here in Toronto, we're at -9ºC w/o and -19º w/ windchill. Supposed to have 30cm of snow by tomorrow morning, though.

We've had -40 windchill on Sunday night. School busses have been out-of-service and schools closed so often, even the kids are worried about their future [IMG]

PS This damn country needs a Winter Holiday for the working class [IMG]

ummm.....32 F for the low tonight. That looks like a heat wave compaired to what y'all have. But, then again, I am in Texas, so that is cold.

Michigan finally warmed up enough to get sleet. Yippee.

edit: OK, sleet's over with, now here comes the next 6" of snow. While we're considerably warmer than our Canadian friends, we'll be lucky to see much of 0 degrees C before mid February, maybe March.

40 F is good, I prefer it to 85 F, but this is getting old.

    Today,
    Air temp: -4°C
    Wind chill: -12°C
(Guess I won't get any sympathy here)

Right now it's 1F here in Albany (-17.2C). The wind chill is -8F. Not as cold as it has been here lately. But we have about a foot of snow headed our way for later today and, especially, tonight. [IMG]

Law, you beat me to the Calgary report! [IMG] Always nice to see another Calgarian.

Now if you'll excuse me, I gotta go hook up the dogs to the sled so I can head out to work. [IMG] Luckily, my igloo is really warm today. [IMG]

Oh.. I vote we change the thead title. "Darn, it's cold" doesn't cut it. Something a little stronger perhaps... like "Jesus H-Tap-Dancing Christ its F**KIN' FREEZING out!" Think that's better? [IMG]

Tony, I don't suppose you caught the answer to the CFCN weather trivia last night did you?

    Is Calgary colder then Hell?

    I missed the answer.

-64F windchill in central BC tonight?!?!?! [IMG] All I can say is WOW! I live in Michigan and I can't even imagine temps that cold. I won't be complaining about our near 0 F temps again. Thanks for cheering me up!

Actually Law, on CBC news last night, they were doing a big piece on the current Mars missions. The CBC anchor reported that area of Mars were actually WARMER than Alberta currently is. [IMG]

(No idea if that is right or not, but it was funny/scary to hear!)

Update: The dogs won't come outside. It's TOO DAMN COLD. [IMG]

Can't say much about Markham, ON. Not very cold (about -9C or 15.8F) but I work on the corner of Steeles and Woodbine, and I can't see the 404 from where I sit (maybe 100m away).

My dog does not like cold and windy, and he DID NOT want to go for his morning stroll.

It's currently -36C or -32.8F in Edmonton, my hometown with the windchill putting it @ -41C or about -41F.

I was working up north a few years back (during the first Gulf War) and there was a a week when we had to get out of the barracks because it was warm @ -35C! The overnight lows for almost two weeks dipped below -45C. Didn't matter much, because the mercury in the Thermometer was nearly frozen. (It was a weather station I was working at).

...on the other hand, Paradise, MI should get down to -19 degrees Celsius this week.

-Broke the auger drive belt on my snowthrower today.[IMG] While driving around seeking a replacement belt, a guy on the radio said they've gotten the most snow they've had in northern lower Michigan in three and a half years. Must've been one brutal July is all I can say.

It's 34F right now, in the middle of the day. At night it drops to at least 20, maybe more (dunno for sure, I haven't paid that much attention).

But for NM, that's pretty darn cold!
