I saw in the Best Buy flyer that this movie is coming out on Tuesday. I was happy to see that it said "Unrated" on the cover. Are there any reviews out there?

Can anyone tell me if the US Unrated version of this movie is the same as the uncut version that was released everywhere else? Or is it still the butchered US released with a couple of extra minutes that make it, UNRATED??

From the few reviews I've read, none of them were able to answer this question.

I picked this movie up blindly on tuesday.

Haven't watched it yet, haven't heard a thing about it either.

Will let you know what I think when I finish it.

    I got it from Netflix.

Didn't much like it and hit the FF early on(to see if it looked like it picked up, it didn't). I returned it.

Can't tell you what was added, but nothing in what I saw was more than a PG-13.

I heard several very bad things about this movie. I know it was made in like 2001 and had a very difficult time even getting distributed in the US. I think that the studios made a mistake pricing this as high as is it. For its first week pricing, most places are selling it for $20. Thats just too high for a film like this for me to blind buy it.

I saw the international version about a year ago. I thought it was pretty good. Sure the story is nothing to write home about, but I thought the atmosphere was pretty good. I want to know if the so called "Unrated" US DVD is the same as the international version that I saw a year ago.

It is my understanding that the "unrated" DVD is the same version released outside the United States a while back.

It is the same as the international version -- and it's awful....one of the worst films I've seen of its kind in years (and that says something).

DEFINITELY do NOT "blind buy" this one. You'll regret it later.

Doesn't the international version include some brief nudity?
I thought that was the only thing trimmed to get a PG13 in the US.
