As many as they can get away with, I suppose.
Of course, there are quite a few extras on this one so maybe it's the last. It has the unaired pilot on top of the six eps plus it has an interview with Brian Cosgrove.
Danger Mouse is an interesting sort....
Certainly one of the finest written animated shows in quite sometime.....
This series ran in the UK from 1981 through 1992 and before all was said and done racked up 89 episodes.
Now, Danger Mouse was not a traditional cartoon.... Depending on the season (there were 10 of them), you either saw a 4 minute version (4 seg's), a 10 minute version (2 seg's) or the 20 minute version (which I believe all aired here on Nick).
Danger Mouse has gotten a strange release so far in the UK on 3 discs (the 3rd was delayed due to the title which is called TOWERS OF TERROR).
The first disc (6 episodes) consists of the full 2nd series of Danager Mouse.
The second disc (6 episodes) consists of the first half of series 3 and the first third of series 4, for some reason.
The third disc (6 episodes) consists of the remainder of the 4th series.
As to why series 1 has been passed over is a question. Following that, why was only the 1st half of series 3 put out and not the complete series???
Only Danager Mouse knows.....
Here's looking forward to further Danger Mouse release...
I am off to learn Japanese, so I can understand my first DVD box set of ASTRO BOY... No english on the set! DAMN!
