But it looks like the voters didn't turn out for Sabrina, and she got the boot in a shocking results show!!! :) It's a pity because either Marie or Jane should have been sent home.

Shocking is putting it mildly -- neither Marie nor Jane was even in the bottom two!

Next week will be interesting. Are the older viewers turning out in droves for the older contestants? (To be fair, though, Jane and Marie are better than most of the people their age who've been on the show in the past.)

Yup--talk about my conspiracy theory being shot all to h*ll, and then some!

The feedback I've been reading on other websites is that more than a few folks were experiencing issues when attempting to submit votes for Sabrina--stuff like not getting connected when dialing in to her number (yet no issues when dialing in for any of the other contestants), to not being able to submit the maximum number of votes for her.

OTOH--then you have Donny Osmond; not that I have anything against him rooting for his sister in general...but IMHO he is being a bit out of line for publicly offering his clearly-subjective opinions on why certain others should be next to be voted off, while at the same time not offering any objectivity in regards to his sister's less-than-stellar performances. My point here is that if he wants to root for his sister--fine...but don't do so while making petty comments (even if there is some basis for doing so) regarding some of the other contestants. By doing so, he's implicitly conceding that he doesn't think Marie can win it all on her own...at least not without trying to "dish some dirt"--so to speak--on the other contestants.

FWIW--and hopefully I haven't jinxed either one of them by mentioning this--my choices for front-runner (Helio) and dark-horse (Mel B.) are still in the running. I think I'll add to those predictions by offering a "way out in left field" prediction--namely, I would not be surprised if either Jane or Marie make the final three. I say "way out there" because either/both of them should have been eliminated by now...yet neither one of them were in the bottom two this week.

As far as shocking reality and/or celebrity show eliminations go--I rank this up there w/ Melinda Doolittle not making the final two/three in American Idol.

I agree, Marie I think is the weakest so far. She was good in the beginning but she hasn't progressed any while everyone else is passing her by. I was really shocked that marie(I think she was too) wasn't in the bottom 2. I had picked Sabrina and Helio to fight it out for champion. I guess when you have arm chair voters deciding the fate of these celebrities anything can happen. It's a real shame. It seems to me like Sabrina and her partner have a thing going on.

Okay...I'll start closing out this thread by saying that my guesses for front-runner/winner and dark-horse (Helio and Mel, respectively) were right on the money! Granted, "dark-horse" isn't really the same as "runner-up" but my two picks did make the final two... :D

My early prediction was Helio, Sabrina and Mel. Sabrina SHOULD have been in the final 2. Marie made through solely on fan dedication. I like Marie but she really didn't progress after about week 4.

Dancing with the Stars is coming Dec 30th to the casino I work at.
I can get tickets, but I HAVE TO work that night.
It's one of the nights that's on the list I can't take off.

Maybe I will see some of the stars walk through.
I'll post back if I do.

I just had my Foxtrot routine with my teacher on Sunday.
We did "Now I'm Following You" by Madonna from the movie Dick Tracy.

We didn't make the registration for the upcoming tournament at the Luxor this week end, but we will be competeing in the March one, doing the same foxtrot routine.
and now were getting ready for our next routine.

I still need to play catch up on the old episodes(even though I knew who won)

LOL--I'd say it'll be the season after next, if past seasons are any indicator; it took two seasons before Cheryl Burke wound up being eliminated early on in the competition (okay I know--it's not HER fault she was eliminated), given that she and Ian did make it pretty far into the season to almost sniff the semis.
