It starts this Tuesday and will be the first time it's in HD. Anyone else watching?

I'm not a fan of this show but since my girl Sara Evans is on, I'll have to check it out.

Had a good time with most of the contestants.

    Harry was simply dreadful.

Mario might have some problems with the slower (non-hip-shaking dances).

Joey sort of disappointed me, seemed more of a poser than a dancer.

Emmet surprised me with his ease of movement and has a great partner. He's much more fluid than Jerry Rice. Will have to see if he can bring the hip action.

Jerry was cracking me up with the comments (drawing the short straw, etc).

Tucker is this season's Kenny Mayne, but had a good time with it.

Willa was good. I suspect she'll go far amongst the women stars.

    Shanna wasn't too graceful.

Vivica is suited for this dance, we'll see if she can keep up in the latin dances.

Sara is going to have a tough time with the latin dances too.

Monique is okay, has a good partner.

IIRC, Edyta is back for the third time...

On a different note--interesting that, after praising Master P for at least being a good sport for trying (made during last season), Ashly chose to comment this season about how P didn't really have his heart in the competition. Even though it was probably a valid assessment, IMHO I don't think she should have offered such an opinion on national TV.

Didn't see much last night but my wife called me in for two contestants, Vivica Fox, I don't why maybe she thought I was fascinated by her and Jerry Springer. Jerry Springer had me laughing through out his routine. Vivica well I guess I surprised my wife since I didn't stay too long to watch her. I have to admit that kaboose was swinging around the dance floor [IMG]

Well, no surprise the sitter got the boot, but the new Pussycat Dolls lead singer didn't get much love from the calling audience either.

Any odds on who'll be next to go? I'm guessing either Shanna or Willa...if only because the past two seasons have pretty much shown that popularity does help those obviously less-skilled celebrities make it past a round or three (see P for the most obvious example)...and I don't see enough folks voting for either one of them compared to the legion of fan support Jerry has.

Last night's results came as a pleasant surprise. Going by technical standards, Jerry should have been eliminated, but his popularity with the home viewers was enough to keep him out of the bottom two. Instead, we got rid of one of the more bland people on the show. If we can just get rid of the other blonde who performed first on Tuesday night, I will be very happy.

I'm pulling for Sara Evans and Mario Lopez to do well on this competition. I also like Smith's dancing quite a bit.

But Willa's a much better dancer than Sara will ever be.

I found it odd that the bottom 2 gals both appeared in separate Playboy pictorials.

Forgive me for the self-congratulatory post but...what a guess (both being in the bottom two), eh? [IMG]

Apparently more than a few folks seemed to be less than pleased with the outcome of last week's elimination episode where Harry was eliminated.

I have to admit I felt bad for Ashly...

Unless Jerry performs really badly, I can see him lasting a few more rounds due to his popularity among the voting audience.

I feel really badly for Ashley as well, she deserved a longer time in the spotlight after that Master P experience last season.

I was upset that they didn't boot Mario for seriously breaking the rules two weeks in a row. He should have been the one to go home over Harry, but at least I guess I won't be creeped out by his dancing anymore.
