I have a JBL S-Center. Awhile ago I was calibrating my system and my VE disc skipped or something and so at reference level there was a blip. Scared the crap out of me - I thought something blew up. I checked all the speakers and the center speaker tweeter had a dimple in it. Being made of some kind of plastic material I was able to massage out the dimple but I've noticed it's not as rigid as the tweeters on my other JBLs. I don't notice any distortion or absence of frequency that would reflect it being blown. Just wondering if I should leave it or try to replace it. A new tweeter costs around 40 dollars.
