Assuming that HD-DVD will be backwards compatible with my current DVD collection I will just wait for that to come out. I don't think I will invest in D-VHS mainly because I already have enough storage problems with all my media

Well considering a good progressive scan DVD player cost over a grand still.

What?? A Panny RP91 is way, way less. New they're lik $450 from discounters.
