The actor who played D-Day in Animal House, Bruce McGill. He has been all over the tv land lately. He had a role in Wolf Lake. And in the past 2 weeks he made guest appearances on The Practice and CSI. The guy gets around.

I like him. He's an excellent actor. I loved his small part in "The Insider".

Interestingly, this guy was in the pilot episode and the final episode of Quantum Leap. He was a member of the Air Force in the pilot episode and the person/being responsible for Sam's leaps in the final episode. Not sure if this was an intentional link to the first and last episodes or not.

McGill also did a great job as Yankees manager Ralph Houk in HBO's "61." The man has range...

Also in My Cousin Vinny and my favorite series:

    MacGuyer as Jack Dalton.
