Curved Display? (1 Viewer)

I have noticed quite recently that my DVD player displays a curved widescreen image. The general image is great, but the top curves up towards the edges (similar in shape to the letter u (not as drastic though, just used to describe shape)) and the bottom curves down...is this normal? I know that when I used to use my Xbox to play DVDs, this never happened...

Any help would be appreciated...

What kind of monitor are you using, and what kind of DVD player do you have?

TV: RCA D52130
DVD: Hitachi DVP725U

It's not the TV because it doesn't do it with anything else. I play the DVDs on my Xbox, and this doesn't happen...
