I used the search function but could not find my post on the Curtis Mathis TV at K-Mart in which I questioned it's ability to squeeze anamorphic DVD.

Anyway my friend just bought this 32" Curtis Mathis TV at K-Mart for $399.

And I can report that is does indeed do the squeeze, pretty cool for the price, the only drawback is it does not have component, only S-Video, but the picture quality in squeeze mode was exceptional.

If anyone is interested just an FYI.

Mods: please move this thread to the appropriate forum, I think it belongs in display devices.

Samsung makes this set for Curtis Mathis but on their own sets they do have the component video inputs. The 32 inch Samsung can be had for around $450 Might be worth checking into if you want component inputs.
