Debuts on Special Edition DVD and Videocassette April 30, 2002

Culver City, CA (02/12/02) - On April 30, 2002 Columbia TriStar Home

    Entertainment

will release on DVD and videocassette NOT ANOTHER TEEN MOVIE, a

    riotously

risqu' comedy from the writers of Scary Movie and producers of Urban

    Legend 1 & 2.

NOT ANOTHER TEEN MOVIE is a big, fat, juicy spitball lobbed, with mostly

    dead-on

aim, at the teen-smarm cliches that have accumulated like so much earwax

    over the last

three years" says, Entertainment Weekly. The Film stars Jaime Pressly

    (Joe Dirt), Randy

Quaid (Independence Day), Chyler Leigh (Kickboxing Academy), Eric

    Jungman (Varsity

Blue), and Mia Kirshner (New Best Friend).

    Synopsis

NOT ANOTHER TEEN MOVIE, an irreverent comedy that shows no mercy as it

skewers the conventions and cliches of the genre you hate to love.

    There's Janey Briggs

(Leigh), an aspiring artist who is outcast by her classmates for wearing

    glasses, a ponytail

and paint-covered overalls. She lives in a house with her horny brother

    Mitch Briggs

(McMains) and her unemployed drunken father (Quaid). On the other hand

    there's Jake

Wyler (Evans), an All-American football star who makes a foolish bet to

    turn Janey into

    a prom queen.

But by the time they get to the dance, this over-the-top, outrageous

    comedy hysterically

pays tribute to all of the classic teen movies and moments in the film

    history.

Executive produced by Brad Luff and Michael Rachmil. Written by Michael

This movie is hilarious! I'm sure I'll enjoy it much more at home, since the theater I saw it in had trashed the print.
