Thanks to those of you participating in the TV poll. Based on the overall selections, we have now planned to put out a number of the titles chosen. Please look for The Tick, Soap, Newsradio, Dilbert and more to be released on DVD later this year. Thank you again for your selections, your opinions matter!

NewsRadio - finally!!!!!! Hopefully it'll be season sets. Thanks, Columbia!

And hopefully the Critic is included in the "and more."

THUD!!! That is the sound of my jaw hitting the floor! One suggestion: the first season of Newsradio was only 6 or 7 episodes. I hope they put seasons 1 and 2 in one set like Fox did with Family Guy.

David has had plenty of great excuses to do so lately. Thankfully, I celebrate in a less forward way, which is to say I simply strip naked and wave a flag of victory. ;)

It would be a huge slap in the face to fans if these were just released as 'best of' sets. Especially since there were only nine episodes of The Tick. Newsradio and The Tick for me. Hopefully The Critic, Action and Parker Lewis got a lot of votes despite the fact they were added late. Is Parker Lewis on DVD asking for too much?

I'm definitely buying The Tick, a show that deserved more than it got when compared to the abundance of reality TV. I think I may have only seen the later episodes of Newsradio or a middle season, I'll pick it up depending on reviews.

I personally think NewsRadio fans would have demanded season sets when voting.
Releasing best of's would be ridiculous in my opinion. Not just for the obvious fact that I prefer season sets but because, well, some of these series didn't have that long a run. I mean, NewsRadio had 97 eps whereas Married with Children had 262. NewsRadio fans also tend to be more of the rabid fanboy/girl type who will boycott all CTHE product if things don't go their way. (Dilbert, which I'll also be buying, only had 30)
I'd imagine we might see seasons 1 and 2 of NewsRadio packaged together, considering it only makes a total of 28 episodes.
Here's hoping we get to see the pop-up episode!! :D :emoji_thumbsup:

The Tick? YAY!!! I have never seen the animated series, although I wish I had. I just happened to have the TV on when the first episode of the live action was on, and I loved the show.

Are we sure it's not the animated series. Yes - the poll had a picture of Patrick Warburton in the blue costume.

Dilbert good? I like the strip they publish in the paper, never saw the series. Would that be worth getting?

Please, please, please let The Critic be one of the "and more".
