MAKING DREAMS COME TRUE ON DVD AND VHS APRIL 27, 2004!

Los Angeles, CA. (02/16/04) - Some lives are simply too big to be ignored and
on April 27, 2004, Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment reels in a whopper with the
Golden Globe® and Academy Award® nominated Big Fish. In one of the most
anticipated releases of the year, director Tim Burton (Sleepy Hollow) brings his magical
imagination on a journey that delves deep into the troubled relationship between a dying
father and his skeptical son. Featuring an all-star cast, including Ewan McGregor (Moulin
Rouge), Albert Finney (Erin Brochovich), Billy Crudup (Almost Famous), Jessica Lange
(Blue Sky), Alison Lohman (Matchstick Men), Helena Bonham Carter (Fight Club) and
Danny DeVito (L.A. Confidential), Big Fish is a humorously magical modern day fable
about one man's attempt to understand the larger-than-life persona of his enigmatic father.
The result is a journey of mythical proportions that Peter Travers at Rolling Stone
proclaims, "brims with storytelling sorcery" and Shawn Edwards of FOX-TV raves,
"Amazing." Big Fish is an incredible cinematic journey that is as wonderfully magical as
    it is visually dazzling."

    SYNOPSIS
Big Fish is a Tim Burton film based on the novel by Daniel Wallace. In life, it's
sometimes impossible to separate fact from fiction, or a man from his myth. Edward
Bloom has always been a man of big appetites, enormous passions and tall tales. Yet
even on his sickbed, Edward - portrayed in old age by five-time Best Actor Oscar®
nominee Albert Finney - remains a huge mystery to his son William (Billy Crudup).
Now, to get to know the real man, Will begins piecing together a true picture of his father
from flashbacks of his amazing adventures in this marvel of a movie.
