Can anyone comment on the performance of the CSW Newton series T500 speaker? Aside from the usual CSW bashing...does anyone own or have heard these? I am considering (2) T500's (1) MC500 (4)S-300 tripoles for the surrounds and (1) VTF-3. Any suggestions...am I making a mistake?

    Mike,

I have heard them several times and I think they are a VERY strong candidate in their price class. I have owned CSW's since August 1994 and have had ZERO problems! I think people put CSW in the same idea as Bose with it's Internet based buying and not really being in a "real" Home Theater shop like Paradigm,B&W, etc.. I would buy the T500's in a heartbeat over the comparably priced B&W's. The T500's do require a little room to stretch their legs so I hope you have a good size room. Those little Newton M80's are unbeleivable for their price!. If you have no access to a local store, CSW does offer a great inhome trial plan.

I don't think you will be disappointed.
