I didn't buy the U.K. version because of the lack of widescreen/who are you?,so hopefully they will get it right with this release.

Just got a call from the rep at Alliance. She didn't have to much to say. But, here it is:
-It is definitely coming out in Canada on Sept.10. But, she did say it was coming to the US in the future. She had no idea when.
-It will be fullscreen
-And she did not know if the intro would still be the Who song.
So in the end not really great info. But, at least we know it is coming out. And since I love the show and it will still look better than my vhs copies. I will get it. And if a better US version comes out. I can sell it on ebay or give it to a family member.

Videoflicks has the artwork for the upcoming disc. The cheapest price still seems to be Amazon Canada. After shipping it is under $50 US.

I would still prefer a full season to a half. Especially since 24 is coming at only a bit more than that cost for a full season.
