    Pretty decent episode.

1/4 of the way through, I thought it would be the cop that initially made the stop. I would have liked to see Grissom, or some other CSI appologize to the guy that was framed. If the warrant had initially been requested, he would have likely ended up in jail. Guess its tough to admit that the evidence isn't always right.

Details of the episode being discuss don't need spoilers.

Overall, an okay episode, but it was good to see some fire in these CSIs for a change.

So Xander Berkeley is the new sheriff in town.

When will they reveal who gets the promotion? Watch it be Warrick.

Funny premise for the episode. Maybe Nevada's different, but generally, you don't need a warrant to search a car. You still need probable cause, but once you've got that, you're good to search the vehicle without a warrant.

Yeah, I guess that plane crash last season wasn't so bad after all...

What's sort of interesting is that the former sheriff on CSI is currently on "24" serving as security detail for Palmer (he may have been made chief of security for Palmer, not sure).

Enjoyed this episode. I usually dont like it when they try to add 'drama' by having all the courtroom stuff or the conflict between Grissom and that other head csi asshole in charge of a different crew(day shift??). I prefer that they stick to the investigation aspects, if I wanted courtroom drama or relationship drama Id watch another show.
