I kept wondering what else the sheriff had been in, then it hit me. Robert Ritter from Clear and Present Danger. Was also a character in Mission Impossible.

I kinda felt scared for Grissom there, even though I live in one, small country towns make for good horror flicks..

Pretty decent episode.. I liked how he played off the "wife" comments..

So does Willow keep what she got or get rid of it? I was wondering when her dad would show up again. I love the way this show has reappearing people and themes.

She'd be dumb to throw the money away to spite her father. Put the money away in a trust fund for Lindsay (that's what I'd suggest for the time being).

I think if she cashes it, it might come back to haunt her. Her father's case was thrown out because she tainted the evidence by testing for a paternity test. If she cashes it, it could look like a kickback or bribe.

No doubt, taking $250000 would look very suspicious.

Of course she is going to keep it. That is why her and Warrick were talking about the high price of college nowadays.
All in all, an enjoyable episode. It was great to see fellow canuck Henry Czerny again.

I didn't think I was going to like this episode when it first started but I was pleasantly surprised. I especially liked the way Grissom improvised when his evidence kit was stolen. Very MacGyver-ish.

I cracked up when the coroner looked at the body and said, "He's dead. You're authorized."

thought this was an excellent episode; liked the change of location to the small town, and the focus on pretty much just grissom.

Made a great change of pace. I thought it might be a Murder on the Orient Express thing, where everyone in town is guilty :)

This episode proved to me that I like the one case at a time story rather than the usual 2 or 3 a whack. And the CSI in a small town was a nice change of pace. Enjoyable episode.
