Chef's music is reallly nice - I've been "rewinding" the DVD's over and over to hear his songs - "I wanna make love to ya womman, wanna lay you down by the fiiyya..." [IMG]
Anyone know any good musicians like him? Preferably featuring similar content! [IMG] I hear Barry White is good, is he?

How about Chef himself: Isaac Hayes?
The man had a huge writing and performing career well before he became 'Chef.' I don't own any of his albums, but I'm sure the All Music Guide will point you in the right direction.
There's also Al Green, Teddy Pendergrass, Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes, etc.

    Yes, Barry White rules!
Although they seem similar, I've always felt that Barry White's recordings were consistently better that Isaac's.
You'd probably do good to start with THIS
And of course, like Mike said, Marvin Gaye, baby.
