Looks like François Truffaut's "The 400 Blows" will be coming next on blu-ray from Criterion on March 24, 2009!!!

With the release of this title, it appears more likely than not that Criterion are following the order of their blu-ray releases when first announced...

Yeah I'm also very anxious for some Kurosawa in High Def. Same with Hitchcock, Powell/Pressberger, Fritz Lang, Jules Dassin, Preston Sturges, Terry Gilliam, etc.

I'm rather fond of the Antoine Doinel set, but The 400 Blows is one of my favourite films, so I will be buying the Criterion Blu-ray in 2009. And the Nicolas Roeg films as well!

I have both the review copy Blu-rays for THE 400 BLOWS and THE LAST METRO, but since they don't come out until the 24th, there are a few other discs ahead of them I must deal with.
