Criterion: Ivan's Childhood (1 Viewer)

Any news on a release date for Tarkovsky's "Ivan's Childhood?" My 2002 Criterion catalog lists it as "coming soon." There is no info on their website.

In a similar genre... anyone know if Kino's "The Tin Drum" is available anywhere... and if it is... how's the transfer? Judging from my search, this might be OOP.

As I understood it, Criterion are having difficulty finding suitable elements for their Ivan's Childhood transfer, but it is in the works nonetheless. Kino and Criterion are collaborating on a brand new special edition of The Tin Drum (presumably to go with Criterion's other recent Schlondorff discs).
