The Criterion edition of The Freshman will also include a short never before released on DVD, The Marathon (1919).

Newsletter just hit my email, looks like we're getting a blu for "Ace in the Hole". I'd post a picture but I'm not allowed to post image extensions in this community. Pretty unfriendly....

Yeah that was probably the easiest Newsletter clue of all time.
YOU'RE JUST SAYING THAT BECAUSE I GUESSED IT SO QUICK!!!

:P

I never saw the film so I'll be picking this up on a 50% off sale.

In Canada on amazon.ca the prices are insane. They have a lightening deal going on right now for some Criterions at 46% off, which work out to $29.99 each. Our dollars aren't THAT different at the moment!

New criterion clue is here and I think it's easy and because I rarely get these much less be the first to post I say it, "Ace in the Hole" (1951) staring Kirk Douglas, directed by Billy Wilder.

Does anyone know which monthly clues haven't been released yet? Not stuff from the new years drawing, just the monthly ones.

I see some of those titles.

Instead of a Hulot box, it might be a Preston Sturges Box.The drummer (and dancers) might indicate Young And Innocent
