CREMASTER CYCLE on dvd?? (1 Viewer)

anybody have any info, rumors, etc? the palm pictures website has been tragically sparse with any information, but they've recently released an onslaught of director's label dvds, so i was wondering if anybody had heard on this series... thanks.

Last I heard you could buy the Cremaster Cycle on DVD, but it was about $100,000 direct from the artist. Apparently Barney views his work less as a movie and more as a piece of art. I remember seeing the set on display at the Guggenheim. It had a plaque that read something like "Cremaster Cycle, visual disply. Medium: metalic substrate on plastic disc"

That said there have been bootlegs that have turned up from time to time. But I wouldn't count on a legitimate commercial pressing any time soon.
