Anyway, tooth cracked ages ago(6 years???). Been letting pieces fall out since. Yeah, I know...hate dentists...

Finally had a piece that wouldn't come out...so no choice.

Went in at 2:30 thinking they could pull just that piece. X-ray and the dentist is like...

"How much pain are you in"...

Uhm...none.

"Do you have a ride home?"

No, was planning on going to work, why?

Long story short...I should have been reeled over in pain. Extracted the remainder of the tooth over the underlying infection.

Attempted to go to work, but the incessant drool was a nuisance(my boss, Thursday when I scheduled this, was urging the whole day...)

Anyway, now 7, face is still numb, no longer using gauze(told to stop with the gauze by 6).

What I forgot to ask...as I wasn't expecting to still be numb...

Eat?

This sucks.

And I'm the one that rode myself to the hospital after getting hit by a car on my motorcycle (we were both doing 15, knocked me into a ditch).

I forgot to get them from the dentist...

I coulda posted a pic of the three tooth fragments...

The tooth broke into 6 pieces, over time.

The night it initially cracked, I was in Louisville having dinner at Bear's(been too long...Bearno's?) right off the US31 bridge.

My date was sitting to my right and heard it. Another friend who packs a pharmaceutical case(no, I'm not into that) knew I'd be hurting. She offered up something and said..."Don't ask, but trust me.".

Let's just say, in more ways than one, I felt little pain that night. And remember most of it.
