The price has varied at Amazon. I pre-ordered it at $24.99, but when it was released, it was $19.99. Now that the holiday sales are over, it is back at $24.99

Johnny: Those Amazon links which are created on a number of the HTF's review/product pages are sometimes misleading. As you probably know, there are a number of different vendors which might sell a product through the amazon portal. Those can be found in the right-hand column of the Amazon product page under "More Buying Choices." And those prices can often be less than the price Amazon itself is offering (depending upon sipping charges).

But it seems like rather an inexact science as to which price gets posted in those links at the top of the HTF pages.

How about always posting the amazon price? It is rare for me to use a third party seller. But that might not be everyone's preference.
