Sometimes DeepDiscountDVD gets in OOP stuff for a limited time. Just a while back they had the Evil Dead II limited tins for $24. Always a good idea to keep checking with them.

That's what I thought. But I've seen several of them numbered over 9000 on eBay. For instance, this one is 10009:
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=1549595887
There are other auctions, both active and complete, that list their number in the 9000s or 10000s or 14000s. And I've seen a number as low 3000, so it's not like they started off the numbering at some obnoxiously high number. Weird.

I heard 9000 and 15000, so it may be 15000 or 24000 if they produced two different runs.

Well, that's a burn. I ordered Thursday night (August 1st) and got the email saying I would get a confirmation email in 24 hours. I never got that confirmation email and called today to find out what's going on. They say they don't have my order in the computer and I should check with my credit card company and see if I have been charged and if not, place the order over the phone. WTF? What kind of outfit is this? Of course my CC hasn't been charged and when I asked if they still had the item in stock, they said no, it had been discontinued. *sigh*

Hmmm... this is not good. The charge to my credit card was for another order on DDD (for a couple other DVDs).
BUT I called them yesterday and they told me it was going to ship today (it was packed and ready to go according to their system). I guess this is a "we'll see" situation. [IMG]

Well, they did say you'd receive another email with a confirmation #... didn't say you'd get an email without a confirmation # :p) Same thing happened to me [IMG] I hope at least Nathan got his set.

    hmph...

rob, you placed your order before you posted about them being available here, right?

if so, then you placed your order before me. and if i got a shipping confirmation, then surely you've got one coming. maybe they sometimes ship out of order....i dunno.

i'll try to post whether or not mine comes in.

I saw Rob's post about 15 minutes after he sent it and went immediately and ordered a copy. I have my tracking number from UPS and according to their system I should have it by Tuesday. I'll let you know then.

So far Nathan and I seem to be the only ones who have recieved a tracking number. Has anyone else been successful?

    Chris S.
