    Hey

Here's the artwork for American Wedding. Afraid I don't know anything else about the release yet.

There is indeed, although it's showing the artwork as being exactly the same at the moment. I guess they'll plonk a nice big banner at the top.

Any news of an "unrated" version like the past two? They sported different coverart than the R rated versions.

Definately picking it up though. Excellent close to the series.

Ahh, good point, seeing how Tom works there. Gotta say, I love all the fresh covershots you bring here Tom. You seem to be the first to the punch.

    Some details have rolled in.

American Wedding comes to DVD on January 2nd, 2004. And As is the way with this series, there will be a slew of different versions released.

Look for separate anamorphic widescreen and pan & scan R-rated theatrical editions, as well as Extended "Party Editions." Each will come with English Dolby Digital 5.1 and French & Spanish Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround audio tracks. Stay tuned for extras. Retail will be $26.98.

Also available will be the American Wedding Gift Set featuring the Extended Party Edition bundled with a bonus disc titled American Pie Revealed. Retail on this is $39.98.

Well, as ridiculous as it is to have 4 separate versions, it's better than what they're doing with Charlie's Angels which excludes a proper version of the theatrical release. I'll buy the theatrical version, though I wish I could also get the unrated version on the same disc- that's a big thing DVD was supposed to be able to do! (and don't say the B-word!)
