Now this is what I call box art... nice job Fox!
I wouldn't buy it... but I love the box
I only wish they would have thrown in the poster of Raquel Welch in One Million B.C., the greatest poster I ever owned!
Maybe they'll package it in a gift box edition of The Shawshank Redemption if/when they come out with a special edition (Warner 2-disc collection?).
Oh my god. That is what I call great packaging. I will love it and pet it and feed it and call it George. Umm, seeing that packaging, will anyone care about the movies. Humm-ana, humm-ana. (Insert additional sexist sounds here...):b
Nice box, but I'll only be picking up the individual disc of One Million Years BC. I would have preferred seeing "100 Rifles" and "Lady In Cement" included rather than "Myra Breckenridge" and "Fathom" (which I already have).
I would have perferred this picture on the cover: http://imagecache2.allposters.com/im.../039_34907.jpg Giddyap !
Great cover. I love her box.
Oh.. my.. God. Alex, the pic on the end of that link is... All I can say is "right click, save-as" If only it were bigger resolution for some sweet screen wallpaper.
Mine was ordered weeks ago. The box is okay, and I only watch the movies for the articles.
--- So many films, so little time...
Trivia question.... The above linked image is a publicity photo from what film?
I'm nearly sure it's NOT from "The Wizard Of Oz".
True, but that is a yellow brick road I'd like to follow. :b
Yes indeedy. You can't beat this with a stick (even the one Raquel's holding).
That's one of the glossy 10"x8" photos I've got stuck to the door of my DVD cabinet. Nice box - looks like the One Million Years B.C. pose is on the spine. Are the other films in the set really worth owning though? Their plot summaries don't inspire much confidence...
The first linked image is from "Hannie Caulder", a Paramount release. I would have preferred a "One Million Years BC" or "Bedazzled" shot myself.
Speaking of Hannie Caulder, where is it? I though Paramount had mentioned it was coming this year?
Ah yes, Hannie Caulder. I have seen postings by Martin Blythe from Paramount here from time to time. If he might be reading this, Hannie Caulder is a title I would consider lowering myself to begging for.
Wow, I guess I'm the only one who doesn't like the box art! I love Raquel, mind you. She was on the cover of my first-ever issue of Playboy! :b
