Count of Monte Cristo 1 disc???? (1 Viewer)

I thought the dvd was 2 discs but apparently it's being release as a 1 disc dvd. I also noticed that one of the features on the dvd is 4 deleted scenes with commentary by the director. Well Kevin Reynolds states that the theatrical release was only 30% of the final cut of the film. He had to shorten it for pacing reasons. I am wondering if maybe a extended cut is in the works. There was not a whole lot on this disc which is why they might of changed it to a 1 disc set.

It is 1 disc, but it does include all the special features that were announced. It's a pretty good disc (cool movie, too); I just wish there was a trailer on it.

I don't know anything about an extended version, though.

I enjoyed it a lot (although different from the book in a few areas) it is a great movie! Kind of like a serious Princess Bride.
