My girlfriend was watching a movie in my HT Saturday night while I was at work. After I got home, we went to bed and got up and left Sunday morning and were gone all day. This morning about 11:30 I went into my theater room to find my Toshiba TW40x81 was still on!!!! All the other HT equipment was off so the RPTV was getting no signal, but it had still been sitting on a black screen for almost 2 days. Besides normal wear and tear on my tubes, could this have hurt my set in any way? There was no still image so there is no chance of burn-in. I put in a DVD to see if the picture was ok and it seemed to be.
