I have been hearing a rumor for a few weeks now that Kids Incorporated and FAME were going to be released on dvd. Is it true? If so, what label will they appear on?

I believe they're both MGM properties.

Don't go getting me prematurely excited. Where exactly have you heard these rumors?

Kids Incorporated?!? You've got to be kidding me! It was such a cheesy show, and the only kids who ever made a name for themselves after leaving the show were Marta Marrero (aka Martika) and Stacy Ferguson (aka Fergie of Black Eyed Peas).

You're forgetting Mario Lopez, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Eric Balfour (Six Feet Under,24,Hawaii), Brian Poth (CSI:Miami).

Next weeks TV Guide has an Insider look at the show. Would love to see this one on DVD.

Also Rahsaan Patterson, who's done two great, underrated r&b albums in recent years in addition to writing and producing other acts.

Still waiting for Lanie to tell us where these rumors started though.

I'd be all over the Kids, Inc. sets. I watched that ALL the time growing up!

The more I think about it, the more I think it won't happen. The licensing rights have to be out the wazoo. That's all they did on the show, was sing pop hits...

Yeah, I probably had quit watching the show on a regular basis to remember (it was really more of a favorite of my little sister more than it was one of mine).

Anyways, it won't be a set I'll be picking up. But for those of you that do, enjoy! [IMG]

I read a post on another forum. I posted it here because you guys seem to be the most knowledgable about this stuff. I figured you would all know if it was true or not. Sorry to cause a stir.

Kids and Fame were two of my favorite shows growing up and I would definitely love to revisit them.

Both shows were favorites of my also. Fame is practically #1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 on my most wanted/unreleased list, that's how bad I want it. Any mention of it finally coming to dvd catches my attention. Hopefully there'll be some positive concrete info soon.
