I noticed this over at National Console Support. The description sounds interesting - has anyone played it? Comments? Reviews? Anyone?
Cheers,

Short, sharp & repetitive. It's kind of Pong in 3D... Fun from what I've heard, but *very* repetitive. It's cheap though... Been tempted myself. May get it at the same time as Rez.

Yes, Rez is definitely something I'm interested in, too (even though I haven't really played *anything* during the last couple of months).
Is it scheduled to be released in the US?
Nope, no US release scheduled. It's coming out in Japan & the UK though... A friend in the UK has played it quite a bit & has been raving non-stop about it... November 22nd in Japan. *So* can't wait. As I'm holding off on the next-gen this year, it's the game I'm most hyped for

Thanks for your insights, guys. Always appreciate it.
Yes, I am very excited about Rez as well, after having read the piece on it in EDGE some months back (I assume you're familiar with that article, Brian).

Is REZ coming out in Europe? If so when? And how do I get my US DC to play Europe software? I really want this game, just as I really want Space Channel 5 Part 2

Rez is coming out for the DC in Europe in December. How to play Euro games on a US DC? To boot them, the Utopia bootdisk or DC-X work just fine.
To watch 'em, the game either needs a 60Hz option or a VGA Mode. Most modern DC games automatically scale to 60Hz if available. Shen Mue2 & Head Hunter both have 60Hz options...
I regularly play MSR UK on my USA Dreamcast for example.
For Japanese games, the Utopia bootdisk works on *most* of them - there are a few exceptions, which are handled by the DC-X disk. I've got a bunch of legal Jap games that I play with Utopia.
No need for a modchip on the DC...
