I'm looking forward to getting Corpse Bride, too. Saw it in the theater with my 13 year old daughter. I and, more importantly, she thought it was just delightful!

    Great film!

Outside of Planet of the APes Burton
    can do no wrong.

This should make for a sensational DVD

I somehow missed this when it was in theaters for about 2 weeks. I'll probably pass again. I love Tim Burton's work but this one just didn't seem interesting enough to go see, which is weird.

No commentary. Hopefully Tim Burton isn't turning into Steven Spielberg... But thumbs up on the isolated score.

I'm still hoping we'll get a Nightmare Before Christmas re-release with an anamorphic transfer around the time this title releases. Not that I've heard anything, I'm just keeping my fingers crossed.

If it isn't with Johnny Depp or someone else then I rather not have another commentary by Tim Burton. Hear his track for Scissorhands to know what I mean.

Burton's Batman commentaries were very good.

I wanted to see this, but never got a chance to do so. It's probably still playing somewhere, but I guess I'll wait for the DVD. Blind buy for sure.

What a bummer. I was so hoping that this would be released in time for Xmas. I am surprised it isn't, actually. Enough time will have lapsed between the time it hit theaters to Xmas that there really is no excuse to wait until the end of January.

But, this being one of the best films of 2005, I will buy it.

They were but I think it's a stretch to call them commentaries. Most of his comments are obviously taken from interviews that are seen in the featurettes on disc 2 of Batman and BR. I would've preferred a realtime recording of him watching his films with maybe the DP or an actor or just someone, unedited.
