I saw this article at the Rolling Stone website here.
, announcing itself with blurry photos of the band members and the terse statement, "Audioslave is a Los Angeles & Seattle based band."
So, it looks like they are still working on the album, but we will have to wait until next year to hear it.

I hope the songs are better than the ones that I have heard so far. I have a lot of hope for this band, but what I have heard of them is not very impressive.

Good news indeed. I really liked the songs that were leaked not long ago, even though some were a bit rough and seemed unfinished. I think by the time the album is released the tracks will be well-polished.

Well I for one have high hopes for this group. I was disappointed when Soundgarden broke up, as I felt that Cornell's songwriting was just beginning to hit it's stride.

Let's see if they break up again before the album is released, however...

I just received the first Audioslave newsletter. It would appear that the album will be released on November 19. The track listing is as follows:
1 Cochise
2 Show Me How To Live
3 Gasoline
4 What You Are
5 Like A Stone
6 Set It Off
7 Shadow Of The Sun
8 I Am The Highway
9 Exploder
10 Hypnotize
11 Bring Em Back Alive
12 Light My Way
13 Getaway Car
14 The Last Remaining Light
They've also updated the website here. Can't wait!

The "Civilian" stuff was average at best. Too much Soundgarden not enough Rage. I hope the new name brings with it a new style.

I heard one last last night -It was horrible. The music wasnt so bad but the vocals were SOOOOOO bad.

I was never a Soundgarden/Cornell fan anyway.
